Snapshot on Queenstown – Summer

Summer in Queenstown is one of the best times of year to visit (ok, we’re biased, and think any time of year is the best time of year).

The wild flowers are out enjoying the sunshine on the Wakatipu, as are us locals, and the long days mean you can cram in even more activities from the adventure capital of the world. Our upcoming clients are in for a real treat.

In contrast to Winter, which is often focused on the Mountains and snow, the Summer in Queenstown thrives around the Lake and the great outdoors.  Relax in the hot pools over looking the turquoise river, or jump into adrenaline with bungy jumping, jet boating, skydiving, zip lining, paragliding, quad and off-road driving and luging, to name just a few activities our guests have recently taken part in.

Let’s talk about how you can get your guests to experience Queenstown in Summer!

Here’s just a few envy inducing images from our local friends around instagram.

Queenstown – We’re right on your doorstep

When walking through the surrounds of Queenstown you could be mistaken for feeling like you’re at the edge of the world, a million miles from civilisation, tucked away at the bottom of New Zealand. However, thanks to our highly connected modern airport, Queenstown is practically on your doorstep.

We’re just one – two hours away from major New Zealand cities, and two – three hours away from East Coast Australia.

With direct flights to over 50 countries around the world coming into Auckland, plus a very short connecting flight to the South Island, the world surprisingly close. Shh, don’t tell everyone – let’s keep it our secret.

Talk to us about how your group can easily access Queenstown’s beautiful remoteness.

Snapshot on Queenstown – Winter

Queenstown has been kind us as new arrivals, waiting a few weeks before really putting on a snow-show. However, in the last few weeks we’ve had an incredible season, with 145cm on The Remarkables, 95cm on Coronet Peak, and more on the way. Our upcoming clients are in for a real treat.

Of course, the mountains isn’t the only activity to do in Winter. Queenstown is famous for its adrenaline rush culture, with bungy jumping, jet boating, skydiving, zip lining, paragliding, quad and off-road driving and luging, to name just a few activities our guests have recently taken part in.

Let’s talk about how you can get your guests to experience Queenstown in Winter!

A fresh new look for Dinamics

New WebsiteHello, and welcome to our website’s fresh new look!

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve taken the helm at Dinamics, so we thought it was a timely opportunity to let you in on what we have been up to.

We have updated the look of Dinamics, including the website, to reflect the way we offer our services. Throughout our careers, Bea and I have always prided our abilities to articulate our clients visions into unique, creative and inspirational outcomes; and taking on Dinamics has been no different. We’re incredibly lucky to have the Dinamics staff at our side, with the skills, enthusiasm, and a wealth of local knowledge to help bring inspiring events to Queenstown and beyond.

So, without further ado, we present our new website! Have a look around, and let us know what you think!

Welcome from the new owners of Dinamics

Long standing Destination Management company, Dinamics, has been acquired by Scott and Bea Bellingham of Sydney, Australia.

Scott comes with a background in delivering events throughout Australia and internationally (including beautiful Queenstown on multiple occasions) for over a decade. His experience in delivering complex and creative event programs seamlessly for clients from a wide range of industries is sure to bring fresh ideas to the company, whilst still providing the stability and professionalism clients have come to expect from Dinamics.

Bea is a powerhouse of energy and initiative. She’s worked in marketing, both agency and client side, specialising in branding and online marketing. As a graphic designer she has managed teams of designers for many years. Most recently she’s built a successful ceramics business, selling her work all over the world and teaching hundreds of students.

The pair have moved their young family across the ditch to their dream home of Queenstown.

All staff of Dinamics have chosen to continue on with the business; and as experts on Queenstown, with experience in a mass of countries around the world, Scott and Bea couldn’t be happier. “The staff really are what make this an exceptional business – their flexible, and open communication assures events are on-track every step of the way, from big picture event strategy, through to the detail of event registration solutions.”

“As the new owners of Dinamics, we are very much looking forward to continuing to work with established clients, and, of course, extending our high level of service, trust and expertise to new opportunities into the future.”

The previous owners, Diana and Alastair McIlwrick, have taken a well-deserved retirement after many years of success with Dinamics.
